"In a few days I'll be gone away from you, mom. I don't want to leave you alone here but I don't have a choice. I'm destined to go and live in a different world altogether. I wouldn't get to feel your hand on my shoulder each time I would feel low. I wouldn't get to feel the sense of security your hug gives me. I wouldn't get to see your cheerful face when I wake up every morning. I wouldn't get to take care of you when you fall sick. I wouldn't get to sleep on your lap. And many more things which were always treasured in my heart but never spoken through words. You are my heaven where I always wanted to live and never go away. But there's another mother who needs me too. I have to serve her now. I have to fulfil her wish to keep her children safe and sound. So that no child loses his mother, nobody loses their family, nobody has to be frightened for their life. I will make both my mothers proud. Your sacrifices would never go in vain, mom. I'm going in the death battle with your blessings and even if it means never seeing you again, I would happily give away my life for the country. Then I'll be always around you, sleeping on your lap, cherishing the most amazing time. I will be with you forever, mom. And one last thing I want to tell is, I love you, I always have and I always will. With that I'm going mom, to the borders and if I come back with my eyes closed once for all, don't shed tears of grief as after that I'm going to be with you forever. Love you, mom."
read the letter an old lady was holding. And as the funeral came to an end a drop of tear fell on to her cheek, spreading a smile. "I'm proud of you my son. And look these tears aren't of grief but of extreme happiness. Love you too." said the lady holding the letter close to her heart and looking at the skies.
